BigMint's weekly iron ore concentrate index stood at INR 5,000/t ($60/t) exw, stable as against the last assessment on 1 June, 2024.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh market decreased by INR 200/t to INR 41,700/t DAP on 4 June, 2024.

Sponge iron prices in all key domestic markets dropped in the range of INR 200-650/tonne (t) on 5 June, 2024. PDRI market prices closed at a range of INR 26,850-29,250/t and CDRI prices, at INR 29,500-35,000/t. About 10,560 tonnes of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 5 June compared to 2,700 t on 4 June.
