BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index increased by INR 400/tonne (t) ($5/t) to INR 10,200/t ($121/t) DAP Raipur on 4 October 2024 compared to the previous assessment on 1 October.

BigMint's billet index inched up by INR 50/tonne (t) to INR 41,900/t exw-Raipur as on 4 October 2024. Around 1,300 t deals were recorded, compared to 4,300 t on 3 October.

India's sponge iron prices increased by INR 100-300/tonne (t) across key locations. PDRI prices were assessed at INR 27,650-28,500/t at the close of trading, while CDRI prices stood at INR 28,800-32,800/t.
