BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index increased by INR 150/tonne (t) ($2/t) to INR 9,900/t ($115/t) DAP Raipur on 31 January 2025 compared to the previous assessment on 28 January.

The daily assessed BigMint's billet index moved up slightly today by INR 50/t, settling at INR 39,450/tonne (t) exw-Raipur on 31 January.

India's daily assessed sponge iron prices increased by INR 100-300/tonne (t) across regions on 31 January, except in south India where a decline of INR 200-300/t was observed. PDRI prices stood at INR 23,900-26,400/t, while CDRI offers were assessed at INR 26,100-30,300/t.
