BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 30 July'24

BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index increased by INR 200/t ($2.5/t) to INR 9,100/t ($111/t) DAP Raipur on 30 July, 2024 compared to the last assessment on 26 July.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market marginally fell by INR 100/tonne (t) to INR 37,700/t DAP on 24 July, 2024.

Sponge iron prices in India rose by INR 50-550/tonne (t) across markets. PDRI market prices closed at a range of INR 24,400-27,200/t and CDRI, at INR 26,850-30,500/t. About 8,800 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 30 July compared to 7,700 t on 29 July.
