BigMint's daily trade sheet - 3 Oct'24

Sponge iron prices in India increased by INR 150-600/t across various markets on 3 October 2024. PDRI market prices closed within the range of INR 27,300-28,650/t, while CDRI prices ranged from INR 28,500-32,500/t.On 3rd October, approximately 33,900 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded across the country, a significant increase from 5,450 t on 1 October.

BigMint's daily assessed HMS (80:20) scrap prices rose by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 32,300/t DAP-Chennai.

BigMint's billet index increased by INR 750/t, reaching INR 41,850/t exw-Raipur on 3 October 2024. Approximately 4,300 t deals were recorded, as compared to 1,300 t on 1 October.
