BigMint's bi-weekly index for Fe 63% concentrate currently stands at INR 5,250/t exw ($63/t) exw, stable as against the last assessment on 23 March.

BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index remained stable at INR 9,200/t DAP ($109/t) Raipur on 27 March 2024 compared to the last assessment on 22 March.

Sponge iron prices in India continued to increase prices rose by INR 50-600/t on 27 March in major regions. PDRI prices were assessed at INR 25,800-26,950/t, while CDRI prices stood at around INR 26,900-31,300/t. About 23,950 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded on 27 March compared to 7,100 t on 22 March.
