BigMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index inched down by INR 50/t INR 5,800/t ex-mines on 27 January, 2024.

The domestic steel scrap index (end-cutting) in Mandi Gobindgarh, as reported by BigMint on 27 January, 2024, recorded a rise of INR 300/t, settling at INR 37,500/t on a delivered-at-plant (DAP) basis.

BigMint's billet index increased by INR 400/t at INR 39,800/t exw-Raipur on 27 January, 2024. About 1,500 t of transactions were recorded on 27 January as against 4,150 t on 25 January.
