India's sponge iron market witnessed mixed trends. PDRI prices stood at around INR 23,900-26,450/t at close of trading while CDRI prices were at INR 26,000-30,100/t.About 26,150 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 25 July compared to 5,530 t on 24 July.
BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market remained stable at INR 37,700/t DAP on 25 July, 2024.
BigMint's billet index remained stable at INR 38,500/tonne (t) exw-Raipur on 25 July, 2024. About 1,160 t of transactions were recorded on 25 July as against 1,850 t on 24 July.
