BigMint's billet index declined by INR 950/tonne (t) to INR 40,050/t exw Raipur on 24 June, 2024. About 1,300 t of deals were recorded on 24 June as compared to 1,500 t on 21 June.

Sponge iron prices witnessed an intense decline today, dropping by INR 50-700/t across various locations. PDRI prices closed at a range of INR 23,800-27,000/t while CDRI prices were assessed at INR 26,250-31,200/t. About 10,750 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded on 24 June compared to 21,050 t on 21 June.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index fell by INR 500/t to INR 38,400/t DAP in the Mandi Gobindgarh market on 24 June, 2024.
