BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 24 Feb'24

BigMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index decreased by INR 200/t ($2) w-o-w to INR 5,450/t ($66) ex-mines on 24 February 2024.

Sponge iron prices fell by INR 50-200/t in some key locations across India on 24 February, 2024. PDRI prices closed at a range of INR 24,800-27,600/t and CDRI prices were assessed at INR 26,450-31,200/t. About 10,050 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 24 February compared to 22,650 t on 23 February.

BigMint's billet index dropped by INR 100/t to INR 39,400/t ($475/t) exw-Raipur on 24 February, 2024. About 2,250 t of transactions were recorded on 24 February as against 2,160 t on 23 February.
