BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 24 Apr'24

BigMint's bi-weekly index for Fe 63% concentrate currently stands at INR 4,200/t ($50/t) exw, stable as against the last assessment on 20 April.

Indian sponge iron prices fell further by INR 50-500/t in all major locations. Around 4,600 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 24 April compared to 5,100 t on 23 April.

BigMint's billet index experienced a downward correction on 24 April to settle at INR 42,850/t exw Raipur, a decrease of INR 400/t d-o-d. The volume of transactions on 24 April was about 1,000 t - largely same as on 23 April.
