BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 20 May'24

BigMint's billet index was down by INR 50/t at INR 44,450/t exw-Raipur on 20 May, 2024. Approximately 1,300 t of trades were seen on 20 May as compared to 1,950 t on 17 May.

BigMint's domestic steel end-cutting scrap index for Mandi Gobindgarh rose by INR 300/t to INR 41,200/t DAP.

Indian sponge iron prices in some key locations rose by by INR 100-300/t on 20 May. Only 5,400 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 20 May compared to 7,600 t on 17 May.
