BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index remained stable at INR 9,100/t ($111/t) DAP Raipur on 2 August, 2024 compared to the last assessment on 30 July. A pellet producer from Raipur sold around 20,000 t (Fe63%) at INR 9,200-9,250/t DAP Raipur to local buyers in this publishing window.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market fell by INR 600/t to INR 37900/t DAP on 2 August, 2024.

Indian sponge iron prices dropped by INR 50-400/t d-o-d across markets. PDRI prices were assessed at around INR 24,300-27,200/t at close of trading today while CDRI prices stood at INR 26,500-30,500/t.
