BigMint's daily trade sheet - 19 Sep'24

BigMint's price assessments for sponge iron (daily) in India marked an increase of INR 100-600/tonne (t) d-o-d across key markets on 19 September. The market prices of PDRI closed in the range of INR 24,100-25,900/t, while those of CDRI closed at INR 26,300-30,000/t. About 11,300 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 19 September, compared to 23,000 t a day before.

BigMint's billet index (daily) increased by INR 300/t to INR 38,150/t exw-Raipur, with 1,470 t recorded as traded against 4,000 t on 18 September.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market rose by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 35,800/t DAP as of 19 September.
