BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index increased by INR 150/t (2)/t) to INR 9,850/t ($118/t) DAP Raipur on 19 April 2024 compared to the last assessment on 16 April. Deals of around 15,000 t of pellets (Fe 63%) were concluded at INR 9,850/t ($118/t) DAP Raipur in this publishing window.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh steel market decreased by INR 200/t to INR 41,500/t DAP on 19 April.

BigMint's billet index declined to INR 44,050/t exw Raipur as on 19 April, 2024. The conversion spread from sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for the standalone furnaces in the region was recorded at INR 14,250/t.
