BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index dropped by INR 350/t ($3-4/t) to INR 10,300/t ($123-124/t) DAP Raipur on 18 June, 2024 compared to the last assessment on 14 June.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh market dropped by INR 100/t to INR 39,900/t DAP on 18 June, 2024.

Sponge iron prices in India witnessed a decrease of INR 150-600/t in all major regions. PDRI market prices closed at a range of INR 25,000-27,800/t and CDRI prices, at INR 27,200-32,800/t. About 15,100 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 18 June compared to 11,600 t on 17 June.
