BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 17 Jun'24

BigMint's billet index fell by INR 400/tonne (t) to INR 42,450/t exw Raipur on 17 June, 2024. The total volume of transactions recorded today was at 1,600 t compared to 800 t on 14 June.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh market fell by INR 300/t to INR 40,000/t DAP on 17 June, 2024.

Prices of sponge iron in India declined by INR 50-350/t across regions. PDRI prices closed at a range of INR 25,300-27,800/t while CDRI prices were assessed at INR 27,800-33,200/t. About 11,600 tonne (t) of sponge iron deals were recorded on 17 June compared to 6,800 t on 14 June.
