BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index remained stable at INR 9,050/t ($107/t) DAP Raipur on 17 December compared to the previous assessment on 13 December.

BigMint's daily assessed billet index fell slightly by INR 50/t d-o-d, settling at INR 39,000/tonne (t) exw-Raipur on 17 December 2024.

The daily assessed Indian sponge iron prices showed mixed trends, with prices increasing in Bellary, Raipur, Hyderabad and Chennai by INR 100-400/t today. Meanwhile, sponge iron prices in other locations dropped INR 50-250/t. PDRI prices closed at INR 23,600-26,500/t and CDRI prices at INR 26,200-30,700/t.
