BigMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 15 July'24

BigMint's billet index rose by up to INR 600/t, reaching INR 39,950/t exw-Raipur on 15 July, 2024. About 1,670 t of trades were recorded on 15 July as against 1,900 t on 12 July.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market significantly increased by INR 1,100/t to INR 39,100/t DAP on 15 July, 2024.

Sponge iron prices in India increased by INR 300-850/tonne (t) on 15 July. PDRI prices closed at a range of INR 24,900-27,200/t while CDRI prices were assessed at INR 26,800-30,600/t. About 11,000 t of sponge iron deals were concluded on 15 July against to 10,400 t on 12 July.
