BigMint's weekly iron ore concentrate index stood at around INR 4,800-4,900/t ($57-59/t) exw, a fall of INR 150/t ($2/t) as against the last assessment on 8 June, 2024. Iron ore concentrate prices in Jabalpur, central India, witnessed a drop this week.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index in the Mandi Gobindgarh market continued to decline for the third consecutive day. Scrap index fell by INR 200/tonne (t) to INR 40,800/t DAP on 12 June, 2024. The Mandi market saw a persistent decline in semi-finished steel prices, along with subdued purchasing interest from mills.

BigMint's India pellet (Fe 63%, 3% Al) export index (FOB east coast) inched down by $1/t w-o-w to $95/t on 12 June 2024. No deal was recorded from the East Coast in this publishing window, as per data maintained by BigMint.
