BigMint's bi-weekly iron ore concentrate index was assessed at INR 4,650/tonne (t) ($54/t) exw-Jabalpur, a decrease of INR 150/t ($2/t) from the previous assessment on 4 January, 2025.

BigMint's daily assessed billet index dropped further by INR 250/t d-o-d to INR 39,000/t exw-Raipur on 8 January.

The daily assessed India's sponge iron offers declined by INR 100-250/t d-o-d across regions on 8 January. PDRI prices stood at INR 23,100-26,000/t at close of trading today, while CDRI offers were assessed at INR 25,800-30,700/t.
