BigMint's bi-weekly index for the iron-ore index was assessed at INR 4,600/tonne (t) ($53/t) exw-Jabalpur on 23 January 2025, stable from the previous assessment on 18 January.

BigMint's daily assessed billet index decreased by INR 100/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 38,500/t exw-Raipur on 22 January.

The daily assessed prices of Indian sponge iron experienced a further correction across markets on 22 January, with prices falling by INR 50-200/t d-o-d. PDRI prices stood at INR 22,900-25,400/t today, while CDRI offers were assessed at INR 25,350-30,000/t.
