BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index increased by INR 200/t ($2.5/t) to INR 9,150/t ($108/t) DAP Raipur on 10 December 2024 compared to the previous assessment on 6 December.

BigMint's daily assessed billet index further decreased by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 38,450/t exw-Raipur on 10 December 2024. Notably, the index has been on a downtrend since 5 December 2024.

The daily assessed sponge iron prices in India decreased by INR 50-350/tonne (t) d-o-d across regions on 10 December due to subdued market sentiments.
