Bhushan Steel: Iron Ore & Pellet Sourcing 16% Down in Apr'17

Bhushan Steel - a major integrated steel maker has reduced its monthly iron ore & pellet sourcing by 16% in Apr'17.
The company's iron ore sourcing was down by 16% M-o-M from 0.47 MnT in Mar'17 to 0.36 MnT in Apr'17. The steel maker sourced the total of 9 pellet rakes in Apr'17.
The steel maker reduced its iron ore procurement from Serajuddin Mines from 0.20 MnT in Mar'17 to 0.13 MnT in Apr'17. However the manufacturer's sourcing from Rungta Mines was increased from 0.05 MnT to 0.06 MnT. On similar lines, its procurement from KJS Ahluwalia was up from 0.02 MnT in Mar'17 to 0.04 MnT in Apr'17. The procurement from OMC was also increased from 0.01MnT in Mar'17 to 0.02 MnT in Apr'17.
Bhushan steel's pellet procurement also witnessed decline in Apr'17 and it procured 9 rakes last month compared to 20 rakes in Mar'17.
