In addition, the worldwide expansion of protectionism is undoubtedly one of the new sources of anxiety for Asian steel companies. The demand for change in the steel industry, represented by environmental regulations and smart factories, is therefore at a more critical juncture. How are Asian steel companies preparing for the new future and new challenges they face, and what efforts are they making to meet the future
This event, themed 'New Challenges, New Future,' will be a global steel conference attended by about 250 participants from steel companies, raw material and equipment suppliers, and institutions from Asia, Europe, Americas, and around the world. Additionally, an 'Asia Steel Enterprise Summit Forum' representing Korea, China, Japan, and India, along with an exhibition, will be held during the event.
The steel industry is facing many difficulties such as supply chain reorganization, intensifying protectionism, regional conflicts, high interest rates, climate anomalies, resulting global economic recession, and rapid fluctuations in raw material prices and exchange rates. Therefore, various efforts to overcome the crisis and cooperation among Asian steel companies are more crucial than ever. For this purpose, ASF has prepared the 'Asia Steel Enterprise Summit Forum' where steel association’s CEO and executives from major Asian countries will meet to candidly discuss key issues.
