Swapnil Patil is the head of Iron ore and Sponge Iron trading for Tata International limited. Prior to joining Tata International, Swapnil has worked with Black Sand Commodities incharge of India iron ore desk. He has worked close to two decades with various entities of Vedanta in multiple roles including managing raw material sourcing for Pig Iron & Steel businesses and Business development in Iron ore Mining. He holds a Masters in finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies & is avidly interested in use of derivatives in Iron ore & Coking coal.
