Indian Structure Market Witnesses Sharp Price Correction

Domestic structure market this week witnessed a major downfall of INR 600-1,500/MT in prices; hovering at the range of INR 23,300-28,500/MT.

Major price correction of INR 1,500/MT is noticed in south India (Hyderabad), followed by west (Ahmedabad)of INR 1,300/MT and east (Durgapur) of INR 1,250/MT amid price correction of billet in west and south.

However, central India has showed minor price correction of INR 600/MT W-o-W. Present trade discount are prevailing at INR 500-700/MT in the commercial grade.

In the meantime, billet offers in week 43 have moved down by INR 1,100/MT and currently accessible in the range of INR 20,850-24,550/MT.

Currently, 100x100 mm angle offers are reported in Durgapur at INR 27,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 26,200/MT, Raipur at INR 26,400/MT and Hyderabad at INR 26,000/MT.

While, 200x75 mm channel offers are assessed at INR 26,250/MT in Durgapur, INR 29,500/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,400/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 27,300/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,900/MT in Raipur.

Heavy structure, 200x100 mm beam offers are assessed at INR 26,250/MT in Durgapur, INR 29,000/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,200/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 27,900/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,400/MT in Raipur.
